Fresh out of college, Annie Braddock (Scarlett Johansson) gets tremendous pressure from her nurse mother to find a respectable position in the business world although Annie would prefer to trade in her blackberry for an anthropologist's field diary. The story begins on a college campus. Suddenly, a terrified crowd gathers outside and finds a dead female student who hung herself.

The next scene describes the story of two brothers named Nino and Aldo. Nino is seen as a guy who is weird and strange. Unlike Nino, Aldo is the more popular and sociable one. Not surprisingly, it is easy for Aldo to be with any girl that he likes, notably one pretty girl named Virnie.

Nino is someone who behaves awkwardly, and actually really likes Virnie. Unknown to Aldo and Virnie, Nino often peeps at them together inside the home. This behavior continues until Nino finally decides to steal Virnie away from his own brother.

By surfing the internet. Nino discovers a legend about strings taken from female virgin corpses. This certain string has a power that can attract the heart of any women. The way the string must be obtained is by using hands to dig out the grave of a female virgin and then taking off the cotton string using the mouth.

All these feelings of love, Nino has for Virnie, blinds him into not thinking clearly. He finds a virgin corpse that had recently been buried. After getting this mysterious string he mixes it into the water that is intended for Virnie to drink.

Will Nino succeed in stealing Virnie with the string’s power?

Dalam film “Jumper”, kita akan melihat sesuatu yang lebih praktis daripada menggunakan pintu kemana saja. Dengan menggunakan teleport, cukup membayangkan tempat tujuan, memungkinkan untuk kemana saja.

Teleport itu sendiri maknanya adalah kemampuan pada diri seseorang untuk berpindah–pindah tempat, dan dapat menembus ruang dan waktu. Teori teleport memang masih berupa khayalan manusia, karena sampai sekarang belum dapat dibuktikan secara empiris, dan juga bukan merupakan “barang” baru di Hollywood. Dalam beberapa film, contohnya X-men, terdapat karakter yang mempunyai kemampuan teleport, salah satu personil X-men yang bernama Nightcrawler.

Namun, dalam film “Jumper”, Doug Liman, sutaradara dari film “The Bourne Identity” dan “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, memberikan kita sesuatu yang berbeda. Diangkat dari novel karya Steven Gould, film ini berkisah mengenai sesorang bernama David Rice (Hayden Christensen), yang di umurnya yang ke-15, menyadari, bahwa ia mempunyai kemampuan teleport.

Seiring berjalannya waktu, David memjelajahi tempat–tempat di seluruh dunia dengan kemampuannya. Namun, ternyata kemampuannya malah membawanya menjadi incaran agen rahasia yang kerap disebut Paladin. Dengan dipimpin oleh agent Roland (Samuel L. Jackson), mereka bertujuan untuk memusnahkan orang–orang dengan kemampuan teleport, yang mereka sebut “Jumper”, di seluruh dunia.

Suatu saat, david bertemu dengan Griffin, seorang jumper yang berniat melawan Paladin dengan segenap kekuatannya, seorang diri. Dan, dimulailah perjuangan David dan Griffin melawan para Paladin.

Adegan–adegan action yang dapat memacu adrenalin kerap disuguhkan disini, dan yang pasti visual efek yang digunakan sangat enak dipandang. Saat David menggunakan kemampuannya, beberapa tempat di seluruh dunia, memberi kita pemandangan – pemandangan indah yang dapat memanjakan mata.

Namun, yang terasa kurang dari film ini adalah pengembangan karakter yang ditampilkan dalam film. Tidak dijelaskan bagaimana para jumper bisa mendapatkan kekuatannya, dan dari mana asal mulanya agen–agen Paladin bisa muncul. Pertanyaan–pertanyaan tersebut mungkin bisa jadi dijawab dalam sekuel selanjutnya, karena jika melihat ending film ini, hal tersebut sangat mungkin terealisasi.

Jadi, jika Anda ingin merasakan sensasi surving di pantai Hawai, lalu makan siang di atas patung Sphinx, kemudian malamnya melihat pemandangan indah kota London dari atas Bigben? Sebaiknya anda nonton film ini, karena Jumper akan menghampiri kita pada 14 Februari 2008, di bioskop–bioskop kesayangan anda.

Review: wow filmnya keren banget deh, emang sih ceritanya muter-muter dan bikin kita menebak-nebak siapa sih pelaku pembunuhan "Presiden" itu???
Ceritanya diulang alang dari berbagai sisi dari mulai jam 12 siang sampai terjadinya pengeboman.
Pertama kita diajak melihat kejadian pembunuh presiden USA yang bertujuan menggagalkan rencana perdamaian antara eropa dan timur tengah yang dalam hal ini adalah USA dan ARAB dari sisi jurnalistik yaitu wartawan. disini masih belum terlihat siapa pembunuh dan pelaku pengeboman tersebut karena ini awal cerita jadi semuanya masih samar-samar.
Yang kedua adalah dilihat dari sudut pandang kedua agen rahasia Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) dan Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox). Dari sudut kedua agen rahasia itu dimulai pada saat Thomas Barnes yang dulunya pernah menyelamatkan president amerika dari pembunuhan dan agen Thomas Barnes ini baru bertugas lagi dan masih trauma dengan kejadian tersebut mengambil keputusan untuk mangawal presiden. Dan akhirnya iapun bertugas dan sampai di sebuah taman tempat diadakannya KTT pada saat presiden akan berpidato dia meliahat hal2 yang mencurigakan sampai akhirnya presiden di tembak dan pengeboman terjadi.
Yang ketiga adalah dari sudut pandang President Ashton (William Hurt) dimana diceritakan pada saat mau menuju taman intelegen sudah mengetahui aka adanya serangan sehingga presiden digantikan oleh kembarannya dan Presidsen diamankan dihotel sampai terjadinya ledakan, tetapi di hotel tersebut ada seorang teroris yang menghabisi seluruh agen dan menyandra Presiden Ashton.
Yang keempat adalah dari sisi Rex (Sigourney Weaver), produser berita yang merekam jalannya acara tersebut. Juga Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), turis Amerika yang merekam kejadian tersebut untuk ia tunjukkan kepada keluarganya serta polisi lokal (Eduardo Noriega) yang menjadi pengawal walikota setempat.
Yang akhirnya diketahui pelaku pembunuhan dan pengeboman itu adala seorang lelaki asal spanyol yang telah merencanakan ini semua dia menggunakan senapan yang bisa dikontrol dari jarak jauh untuk membunuh presiden samaran dan memerintahkan teman wanitanya untuk menyimpan bom di taman kota tersebut, kemudian memerintahkan seseorang untuk menyandra president asli yang ada di hotel diapun bekerja sama dengan salah satu agen rahasia yaitu Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) yang bertugas membereskan barang bukti yaitu senjata yang digunakan untuk membunuh presiden.
disana terjadi kejar2an antara 2 kendaraan antara Thomas Barnes dan Kent Taylor dan akhirnya tomas menabrak dinding dan mati, kemudian otak terorisme ini yang menggunakan mobil ambulance untuk membawa presiden akhirnya mati juga karena kecelakaan pada saat melarikan president dan akhirnya Thomas Barnes menjadi penyelamat presiden untuk yang kedua kalinya.
